Eric grew up in Longview where his extended family still lives. He Graduated in Broadcast Communication from Western Washington University and worked in the Music and Television industry for a few years. He and his wife wanted to start a family and so they moved to Vancouver to be closer, but not next door to family. Global Security

He then went to work at KATU in the newsroom as a cameraman. The television industry was tough on a family, so he decided to go into sales with a local company, so he could be home every night. He worked for a couple of companies in sales, and help them grow. He spent 6 years with One Hour Heating developing a marketing strategy and a purchase of a long-standing local company, Miller Heating. In 2009 he decided to open a restaurant. With the help of a friend from Longview, he purchased PJ’s Pizza in Castle Rock and worked with one in Cathlamet. He had it until December of 2017 when an employee inherited some money and wanted to purchase it and so he gave her a price she wrote him a check.
After Selling the pizza restaurant in December of 2017 he had to get a job. He approached A.J., the owner of Global Security, at a business social and in April 2018 started at Global Security in the Sales Department.

He has 2 married children who live in Clark County and Two Grandkids. Vicki and he have been married 37 years and has lived in Ridgefield for the past 3 years.
